Supernal R&D Facility


The Supernal R&D facility project consists of approximately a $40 million renovation of an existing warehouse to create a research and development facility with open office area that includes a full electrical and HVAC system upgrade, multiple high ceiling lab spaces with vertical lift garage type doors, an open warehouse space with a gantry crane, show room including a cyclorama wall and pipe support grid, concrete reverberant room, raised access floor grid system and roof screen. The project also involved the renovation of an office space, including but not limited to upgrades in millwork, floor and wall finishes.

Role:

  • Assistant Project Manager administering all the disciplines required to complete the Supernal R&D facility.


As an assistant project manager, collaborated with a team of 3 people (APM, PM and SUPT) and liaised with owners, architects, and subcontractors to transition the multi-million dollar Supernal R&D facility project from design, to construction, to completion, by  administering multiple disciplines mentioned in the role section above. Achieved project schedule goals by managing RFI’s, submittals, and procurement,  while ensuring construction work was performed per company, industry, and  regulatory standards.
